Presentation from
"The Fine Print of AI" Session
(2025 Produced By Conference)
As AI-powered tools become increasingly embedded in content creation, producers are being asked to contract with vendors whose technologies can be both powerful and legally complex. This conversation examines the evolving landscape of working with AI service providers and the real-world pain points such as: What red flags should producers watch for in contracts? Who bears responsibility when AI-generated content risks copyright infringement? How should producers evaluate an AI vendor’s offering in order to responsibly protect their intellectual property? The session will open with a brief overview of what’s changed in the past year—including shifting terminology—to ground attendees in the current state of AI in production.
The following presentation was prepared by speakers Lori McCreary (CEO, Revelations Entertainment and Co-Founder, FoodFight USA) and Ghaith Mahmood (Partner, Latham & Watkins).
