Membership Application Process
Once you have confirmed that you have the necessary eligible credits, you will need to create an account in our application system. PLEASE NOTE: The system does not allow you to save and return to your membership application. We recommend having all necessary materials ready to upload once you begin the application.
APPLICATION MATERIALS
- References
- Bio
- Resume (for select media formats)
REFERENCES
You will need a total of 3 (three) unique references. You may not submit the same individual as a reference on more than one project. We strongly advise informing each reference on your application of their selection so they can anticipate hearing from the organization.
References must be able to speak to your role and responsibilities on the credits and productions being considered and should have directly worked with, or supervised, or have a significant professional relationship with you.
References are not limited to peers within the producing profession. You can use other “high level” personnel from the production (e.g. director, editor, etc.) to provide verification of the work you performed. Selecting references that can comment on your experience and production work in detail will significantly speed up the application process. Any individual serving in a representative capacity (e.g. agent, manager, entertainment attorney) or is directly employed by you, cannot serve as your reference.
BIO
Please include a written bio (not simply a print out of credits from a site such as IMDBPro). The bio should provide a narrative characterizing your body of work and professional experience which may be more comprehensive than solely the submission of your membership-qualifying credits.
RESUME
Applicants who exclusively or primarily work in media and formats outside of traditional film and television must provide a resume that includes a list of all released/launched projects and credits from the last FIVE (5) YEARS, with these categories of information:
- Year of release/launch
- Title of the project/production
- Credit received
- Format (e.g. XR/VR/AR, special venue, video game, digital short, etc)
- Form of distribution/exhibition (e.g. platform, console, website, etc) *
- # of episodes (if applicable)
- Running time (if applicable) – Or cumulative running time of all episodes combined
- URL (if available)
*How and where the audience views/consumes/experiences your work.
