Hollywood Commission – Respect on Set
The Hollywood Commission works to stop discrimination, harassment, and abuse across the entertainment industry building safer, more respectful workplaces for everyone.
They believe every entertainment worker should be empowered to speak up about misconduct without fear of retaliation and with confidence that accountability will follow. To achieve this, the Commission partners with studios, guilds, and organizations to change culture, evolve industry practices, and measure progress on respect, inclusion, and safety.
Through their Respect on Set initiative, the Hollywood Commission provides a centralized platform of practical tools and training programs including:
- MyConnext Resources & Reporting Tool – confidential guidance and reporting support outside a production’s chain of command
- Bystander Intervention Training – empowering all workers to recognize and interrupt inappropriate behavior
- Inclusive Sets & Harassment-Free Workplaces Training – promoting equitable, respectful environments on set and in production offices
- Template policies, procedures, and investigation guides – to help productions comply with the I.A.T.S.E. Low Budget Theatrical Agreement and state-specific legal standards
Together, these programs offer producers, crews, and organizations the right mix of practical training and independent support to foster accountability and prevent harm.
