Everything Producers Need to Know to Work with SAG-AFTRA Successfully

The Producers Guild and the Independent Film & Television Alliance® (IFTA®) have worked closely with SAG-AFTRA for the past several years to identify solutions to some of the challenges independent producers face when working with the union. We’re pleased to share a session from last month’s American Film Market® during which IFTA, PGA and SAG-AFTRA joined forces on “everything producers need to know to work with SAG-AFTRA successfully.”

Our goal: Assisting producers in having their questions answered. The session covered residual bonds, CAMs and everything in between. We are grateful to Olga Rodriguez-Aguirre, SAG-AFTRA’s Executive Director and Co-Head of Entertainment Contracts, for her transparency and tips for producers. Special thanks to Jean Prewitt, President & CEO, IFTA, for her collaboration in producing the session and making the recording available to all producers free of charge.

We hope you’ll find this conversation between Olga and PGA’s CEO Susan Sprung helpful.

We’d also like to remind you of the availability of SAG-AFTRA’s Producer Portal.
